Even if we plan, and train hard, and prepare, and study “all possible” contingencies and are prepared for each of them… we’re only covering a piece of the greater equation regarding the outcome of things.

How do we prepare for the unknown, for the things outside of our control, and for the things for which human beings aren’t responsible?

By training our minds and spirits for acceptance.

We can fool ourselves that all our planning and prepping will “save” us from some fate… but actual fate is unknown. The only way we can be ready for whatever fate throws at us is by accepting we have zero control over those unknown factors, AND still be able to greet them with Courage when they arrive.

“This can’t be happening,” is the LAST phrase you want going through your mind when fate befalls you. That phrase, as innocent as it seems, takes us away from the present moment and the circumstances and opportunities therein.

“This IS happening,” is a better mindset… because once we accept what is, we can begin working to make it something else.

(See y’all tomorrow)
