What's this all about?
Simply put, Mountain Ancestors Grove, ADF is a grassroots, polytheist church. At this stage, while we meet in the home and yard of our clergy, we are a 501c3 not-for-profit offering the Front Range community a meaningful religious experience, rooted in virtue, and fed with hospitality. Our way is a liturgy of offerings, and a practice of relationships with our gods, our ancestors and honored dead, as well as the beings of this world, seen and unseen, of all species.
As a church, we have goals and dreams: land, a building fund, our own burial ground, continued thriving community, adult and children's religious education, and well-educated, professional clergy. What we're offering to our community are the same things that anyone would expect from well-established religious organizations around the world. We dream big… and we're moving toward our goals.
Here in Northern Colorado, we're blessed to have such a diverse community, filled with… humanity. Our humanity inspires us to embrace diversity, celebrating in difference with the equal exuberance with which we welcome the similar. Mountain Ancestors is a place where all are welcome to pray at our Fire, and know that it is YOU who are welcome.
