A Year of Contemplation

Did that Make you Feel Better? (Day 39)

Passions and Emotions…  the theme for February. Big feels. High highs. Low lows.

When we’re losing it, the question to ask ourselves, or anyone for that matter, is this: are our tantrums, breaking things, and being cruel changing how we feel in a healing way?… asking ourselves, “Did that make you feel better” will boot us right out of our egoic emotionality and back into the present moment.

But, are these outbursting emotions inherently “bad”?

No, and for no other reason other than good/bad and yes/no are SO binary it makes my soul hurt.

Setting my soul aside and moving on: processing intense emotions WITHOUT EGO is the goal…

,,, but that begs the question: Can we have intense emotional outbursts without ego?

(See y’all tomorrow)
