No one feels good when they do the wrong thing. No one follows the utterance, “Ooops!” (or “Muahhahaha!” with a resounding “That felt AWESOME!”
When we look in the mirror after doing wrong and self-reflect on how we feel about ourselves, we’re likely left with an ill feeling.
If doing good needs more of a motivator than just Summum Bonum, then be selfish about it… do good to avoid the feelings that come along with wrongdoing.
